We Help With Your Insurance Claim
When you choose Brown’s Auto Body as your repairer, we don’t just repair your vehicle. We work direct with your insurer to have your vehicle repaired, and back on the road as quickly as possible. Despite what your insurer may try to tell you, you have the legal right to choose your own repairer.
It’s becoming increasingly common for insurers to try to write vehicles off, even when repair costs are no where near the value of the vehicle. Here at Brown’s, whether you are at fault or not, we do everything in our power to have your vehicle repaired rather than replaced. Should you wish for us to assist with your claim, all you need to do is put your claim in, advise the insurer that you nominate us as the repairer, and we will handle the rest. They may advise an increase in your excess, another increasingly common tactic to force you into the approved repairer route,- but rest assured, you pay your excess directly to us, and we simply will not let that happen.
Further Help With Non-Fault Accidents.
Many people are not aware that in the case of a clear non-fault accident, there is an alternative route rather than making a claim on your own insurance. We work with accident management companies who provide complete accident assistance, providing a like-for-like hire car whilst your vehicle is off the road, keeping your no-claims bonus and your insurance excess, and best of all, they will take care of all the stress for you. The sooner you contact us regarding a non-fault claim, the more we will be able to do to help.

Vauxhall Insignia Accident Repair
This Vauxhall Insignia came to us for an at-fault insurance claim repair. The repairs consisted of a replacement rear door, sill section and dent repair to the front door. We helped the client navigate their insurances approved repairer route, and educated them on their right to choose their own repairer.
KIA Stonic Accident Repair
This KIA Stonic came to us for an insurance claim repair after a side impact. The insurer tried to write the vehicle off as a total loss without inspecting it. Fortunately, the client brought the vehicle in to us for assessment (where we found repair costs to be well within the total-loss threshold), and advised their insurer they had nominated us as the repairer. We had authorisation on the repairs through within a week. Following this, parts were ordered and a booking in date arranged. A courtesy car was provided by us keeping the client on the road for the duration of the repairs.

Audi S4 Chipped Paint Repair
This Audi S4 came to our body shop after being covered in debris from an accident up ahead, causing dents, chips and scratches all over the bodywork and windscreen. To rectify this, we repaired and painted the full front end and complete right-hand side including the door shut for a factory finish.

Ssangyong Musso Accident Repair
After having a nasty hit in the front right corner, we recovered the vehicle back to our unit for accident repairs which consisted of replacement panels fitted and blended into the existing paintwork, re-assembly of the front right suspension and a 4 wheel alignment.

We also accommodate for light commercial vehicle body repairs. This transit van sustained damage throughout the near side. We repaired and painted the full side, blending into adjacent panels for a factory finish.
